Product Description
A softening salve for sore, cracked nursing nipples. All ingredients are safe for ingestion, so it does not need to be washed off prior to nursing. Does not contain lanolin.....Why no lanolin? Because lanolin is a natural wax coating on sheep's wool that is removed by boiling the wool and collecting the wax. Because sheep are sometimes treated with a pesticide dip that contains chemicals to control parasites, Motherlove, the manufacturer of this product, has chosen not to use this ingredient in their Nipple Cream because they are dedicated to avoiding toxins in their products.

Love this cream!
By K
I love motherlove nipple cream! I purchased mine from a local health food store. I like that fact you don't have to wash it off like other creams before nursing. When you're waking up every 2 hours to nurse, who wants to scrub a product off an already sore boob!? Not me. I used motherlove nipple cream with both of my babies and it healed my sore cracked bleeding nipples. I just applied it after every nursing session.

Better than Lanolin!
By Cal's Mom
Lanolin is good for keeping your nipples moist and soft, but according to the lactation specialists at my hospital this cream actually has healing properties. I had significant damage in that area when my LOs were brand new, and this stuff was a life (or rather, a breast) saver!

A must have for a new nursing mom and for a pumping mom
By Kari
I am a breastfeeding mom of a 9 month old baby. This cream was the only thing that helped me with the healing process and to minimize the pain at the beginning.
Pro
-Baby can eat it.
-It does not smell. "Earth Mama Angel Baby" smells like chocolate.
-Easy to apply. Not like "lanolin" that is a mess to say the least.
And for pumping, you should lubricate and for all the reasons discuss before this cream will be the best option. I tried simple olive oil, it lubricate but does not soothe you like this cream.
