17 years loyal customer. NEW FORMULA IS AWFUL!
By JL4321
I have been a loyal customer to St. Ives Collegan Elastin body lotion for almost 20 years. I loved the lotion and never used anything else. Now they've recently "improved" the formula, and unfortunately, the term awful doesn't begin to describe the new formula.
It's greasy.
It leaves a waxy film residue.
It is not quick absorbing.
It is NOT moisturizing at all.
I used the new "Improved formula" for 3 days and then threw away the whole bottle, that's how bad it was. It's so upsetting because previous formulas were great. I wish St. Ives would just leave a good thing alone.
They're losing loyal customers over this change.

Hate, HATE the "New Formula"
By Noflyzone
If you loved the St Ives lotion like I have for years and years, you will be shocked when you use their "New Improved" lotion. It is horrible. You will first notice the smell and feel of it. It fills like you need more in a short amount of time.
It doesn't absorb at all.
It leaves, I am not kidding, a feeling of immediatly needing to put lotion on.
My hands started to itch after using this new crap. (I think because of the perfume).
You can't tell a difference from any other major brand of lotion now. You could feel a big difference before.
It costs more.
Look on St. Ives own site. For the new Collegen Elastin you will find more people giving it a one star rating with very candid reviews.
Hundreds of people who were loyal fans of the old lotion don't like this new stuff and have in fact said they will throw the new stuff away rather than
use it.
St. Ives must realize they have a problem because they put the big bottles where you get like 30 percent free out. The funny thing is with the old stuff you had to get to the store pretty early on when they offered the bigger bottles before. This time they are still after a month the shelves still are full of the big bottles.
DON"T WASTE your money.
This 25 year user of this lotion will not purchase a single new bottle of this crap. If you fill like the other reviewers and I do please speak out. Go to the St Ives site and demand that they do something to change their new product. Thanks for your time.

Best lotion I have found for the price (or even more)
By Sabrina S.
I am somewhat picky when it comes to lotion texture and scent. This hit the mark on both features. Exceptionally moisturizing and a nice non-flowery, non-chemical scent. Can't beat it for the price.
