Love This Bronzer!

I saw that this product received only one star from the last review and I just need to clarify. She's right, it does come out a dark hunter green color and it's a little frightening. I applied the St. Tropez Dark Bronzing Mousse to my legs first so I could at least cover them up if it didn't turn out well. When I first saw the dark green color I freaked out a little but decided to man (or woman) up and push through. The good thing about the color is that you see exactly where you're putting it so it's very easy to see what spots you've missed. I put it on right before bed so when I got up in the morning I took a shower. The nasty green color completely washes out and you're left with a beautiful natural tan. I've absolutely fallen in love with this product and since then I've applied it to my entire body and face and it comes out gorgeous. I've never seen a self tanner with such natural color and no streaks.

i first did a patch test when i recieved the item..i was not to thrilled with the patch test it didn't look tan it looked dirty..but i decided to do it any ways whats the worse that could happen? at first you look dirty..but after the 4 hours is up and you take a shower it looks like a fresh tan. it does come out a black green ish color..but i believe its just so you know where you putting it and i had no streaks what so ever. its been 3 days now ( and a shower every day ) and the tan has yet to go away. my reasoning for not giving it 5 stars is because i wish it was a little darker ... but i'm a tanning junkie ;)

Best self tanner/bronzer ever!!!

I have used the regular St. Tropez bronzing mousse for years and love it but wanted a little bit more color so I was very excited when I saw the bronzing mousse in dark! I read the previous reviews and they were right; when you put it on it's kind of a dark swampy green color. I forgot to put it on the night before and as I put it on my legs the next morning I was a little concerned about the green color. I went ahead and did both legs and by the time I was finished doing the second leg, the first one had dried and didn't look green to me! I have three daughters who always comment on my clothes, hair, shoes, etc. and if my legs had even a slight green tinge, I would have heard about it! I even showed them my legs and they couldn't see any green. Using the dark bronzing mousse is like putting on the regular bronzing mousse 2-3 times so be careful around the ankles, knees, and elbows. I used to be a "sun goddess" and when I stopped tanning, I missed that look. The St. Tropez bronzing mousse--both regular and dark--is without a doubt the best self-tanning product I have EVER used!!
