My Scar Practically Disappeared

I used this item on a new surgical scar on advise of my doctor. My surgical scar healed so quickly and the lumpy red texture has subsided completely. The color faded to match my skin which is great. Even I can barely see the incision site. At my follow up, my doctor commented that the incision looked like what he would expect it to look like afetr about 12 months of healing when it had only been 10 weeks. ScarAway was effective and easy to use. I am very pleased.

Professional Quality Silicone Patches Worked Very well. Easy on and off

ScarAway has worked very well on a few scars for me (I tend to get keloids and thick scars on almost every nic and cut).. It really helps break down the scar tissue, heal it up well and fade the color. I also gets rid of the hard feeling of the scar tissue. Easy to put on and comes off without hurting. Thin and inconspicous on the skin. I tried other brands that were really expensive and too thick with a weird patterning on the gel which called attention to the scars which was not what I wanted. I bought the first ScarAway at Walgreens and just reordered here at Amazon.com...interesting, the box is different online and in stores and it comes in a 2 month or a 12 week supply box, but the one I used called is ScarAway professional grade silicone scar sheets and are only 22.99 or 29.99 depending on which count you buy and they both come with a case to keep it in which the other brand did not either. So a great deal for a high quality product.

Used for 2 1/2 mos

I used this for about 10 weeks. It did lighten my scar a bit, but not totally. This product would be good for a scar that needs to be flattened and/or is not too dark. It lightened (for me) about 50%. I tried to sleep w/it, but it would roll off. The only way it would stay on is if you have some piece of clothing (bra, pants) laying over the sheet. Then it will stay in place. I was impressed by how well it did stay on during the day! You just rinse them lightly w/soap & water & let dry for an hour, then put it back on again...it would stick over and over again for about 7-10 days, then you have to open a new sheet.
