it works!

I bought this for a dollar at Dollar General and gave it a try. It really does work. I use it on small areas on my face if i have a breakout and only at nighttime. By morning I have noticed a big difference on the size of the blemish and within a day or two it's gone! The only con I'll say is it has a medicine smell to it not a bad strong smell but you do smell it on you face.I figure since it gets rid of the blemish's it's worth it.

I've used products that costed as much as 150$ for acne. And they were even prescribed by a dermatologist. I got this product at my dollar general for 1.50$. That period between the 1 and 5 really makes a huge price difference! It did massively dry out my face, but it also got rid of all of my acne,with a good moisturizer this worked wonders for my cystic and above the surface acne. For such a cheap price, i'm in love.

The #1 Oil Absorber!

Dr. Sheffield definitly knew his acne. I've been battling this demon for over 45 years and for a modern product, ( W/BPerox.) this is one of the first that deals with oil too.The best used to be 'Clearisil White' pre. B/P formula but that's no more. Now there are some tinted 'adult' products out there that work on oil but they start expenisive and work their way up to silly unlike 'Clear Zit' which as the other reviewers have already mentioned is available for uber cheap! Now about the tinted ones, they do stop oil but you can literally feel them clogging up your pores and your lucky if they stave off the oil for an hour before your wanting to scrape them off and breath again.
Regarding 'Clear Zit', I wouldn't be writing this review if I hadn't been through almost all the topical creams out there and only tried this out of desperation. In fact I half expected to be throwing it out after one application like many before it.
First of all if you have sensitive skin or you're under 16 I'd be real careful with this stuff; start out with spot treatment only or test it on the back of your neck; if it irritates you I'd stop and not go any further. If you have dry skin, spot treatment only. Heavy oil and general blemishes, a light coat all over and a extra layer over heavy oil areas works for me. Definitely put on overnight on spots and general if you can handle it; you will see improvement. Oh yeah, read the instructions and pay attention it will over dry but it's cumulative and it will catch you unawares if you're not careful. Be especially cautious at the base of your nose where you always want to put more.
I used to complain to my Mom about the oil and she always say "but you won't have wrinkles at 60". Believe it or not she was right but I still hate this oil and probably will until I'm 80 !!
