A few years ago, Aveeno - Daily Moisturizing Lotion was recommended to me by my Doctor. My skin was so dry, it was flaky and I was using lotions like crazy. I tried so many of them, and within hours I had to reapply. I was always feeling greasy after application. It was like I was oiling up to swim the English Channel or something.

So I gave this one a try. One more to add to the list. The difference was this one actually worked! It says it moisturizes for 24 hours (yeah right!, I thought), and it does. It absorbs quickly, and left my skin feeling much smoother, without all the grease. One tip my Doctor gave me, that I'll pass along is to just barely pat dry after showering, and apply the lotion while still a little wet. That way the lotion will capture the moisture.

The "Aveeno Active Naturals" ingredients use an Oatmeal formula and contains the following:Dimethicone 1.25% (Skin Protectant)|Water|Glycerin|Distearyldimonium Chloride|Petrolatum|Isopropyl Palmitate|Cetyl Alcohol|Avena Sativa Kernel Flour (Oat)|Benzyl Alcohol|Sodium Chloride. It is fragrance free.

This 18 0z. 2 pack Lotion is a good buy at this site(at this time) compared with my local market. It is sold at various sites here, just click on the Aveeno link to check for other sites. Take shipping costs in consideration too.

Great for dry, chapped, flaking or windburned skin. Take it with you on sailing or skiing trips. Excellent product and great buy.

It's Lotion!!

Aveeno lotion is very good in my opinion. I prefer it over many of the other name brands (st ives, nivea, jergens, etc.). I'd suggest you buy a small tube of all lotions and try them out for a day. One lotion doesn't work on all skin types so it is really hard to tell someone they should switch over to this. So try them all and see what works best for your skin :-)
