BEST BODY CREAM

I've used this product for over 14 years. I use it twice a day, everyday. My skin has been very dry since I've
had an autoimmune disorder that cause my skin to be red and dry. One of the Dermatologists I saw at Johns Hopkins told me about it. Then I saw it on QVC when I happened to pass by the channel one day. That was my first purchse of this cream. Since then, I've purchased it from L'Occitane,Sephora,Amazon or on the Q. I love when I can get the large, double size,jars. But they're only availasble a few times a year. This cream is the deepest, most long lasting moisturizer for the body I've ever used. I'd tried many, many different creams prior to finding this one. The price is more than fair for the value recieved. A little goes a long way. My skin drinks it in and it leaves no sticky residue. Also, my skin is very sensitive, and this cream does not irritate my skin in any way. In fact it's very soothing. If you're on the fence asbout spending $39 for 7 ounces, please just try one jar. I promise you'll be back for more when you see the bottom of the jar. Most especially if you have dry skin, as I do. To learn more about this line of product(there are many) go to (....)

Not what it seems

I first received the L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream as a gift. It is a very thick lotion and high quality. When I ran out I looked to Amazon to fill that need. However, when I received my package I noticed that my lotion was not sealed (no foil once you open the lid). I also noticed that it was not nearly as thick. Finally, I went to the L'Occitane store by my work and looked at the real thing in person. Yup, what I had was not even close to what the real thing looked and smelled like. I bought a real tub from the L'Occitane store. I just wanted to leave my feedback so you all are warned that this is not the real product. My best guess is that somebody took an empty container and filled it with a substitute moisturizer. Definitely not what you are paying for.

Excellent Body Cream; Works for Severly Dry Skin

This cream does what it promises; it works on severely dry skin and works WELL. It is ultra-rich, 25% shea butter, and the smell is pleasant, although I generally prefer fragrance-free creams. My skin is so dry that my legs actually hurt if I don't use body cream. This cream is rich, and soaks in to the skin rapidly without leaving a greasy sheen. I used it only after a shower.
The only drawback is the price. At $39, you can buy a lot of Aveeno or similar drugstore body creams. But it is a large tub at 7 full ounces, and some buyers really love L'Occitane.
Conclusion: It WORKS, and it smells very nice. If you can afford it, go for it.
