Leaves on waterproof mascara - good for touch-ups
By Amjra
This product is gentle - a little too gentle as it doesn't remove all of my waterproof mascara. Generally I have to use an oil based remover that is a bit messy and leaves potential for getting a bit of film in the eyes so I was excited to find a potential alternative.

After using this product, I will be going back to that oil based remover! After using this remover in the evening and then moisturizing, I find that I wake up with dark circles from left-over mascara that has migrated overnight. Yuck! These simply do not remove all of the mascara.

The good bits: they do seem to take off eye-shadow without a hitch and I have used them for touch ups when applying makeup, when my eye pencil or mascara takes off on its own. So, they are helpful for some things. Additionally, they did not irritate my extremely sensitive skin and have a refreshingly cool sensation on the eyelid. The pads are a generously sized oval shape, which makes much more sense for eyes than a round shape!

I wish they were more moist
By M. Caceres
The pads do a fairly good job at removing eye makeup and mascara. It does a better job at moving eyeshadow than mascara. I used Urban Decay Naked 2 and Benefit Mascara. It completely removed the eyeshadow (naked 2), but it did a so-so job at removing the mascara (benefit they're real! mascara)

I feel I need two pads to remove my eyes (well 1.5 pads, I end up using the 2nd pad when I'm done with my eyes on quickly removing my foundation before I use a cleaser). I find myself constantly PRESSING hard against my skin to get all the makeup out. The reason for that is because the pads are not moist enough. the reasealable seal often opens so it lets air in and it dries the pads even further :\

These pads are great with tough ups or when you mess up on the eyeshadow. With waterproof mascara, they miss the mark due to lack of moisture.

Do I recommend this? Only for "natural" eye makeup.
Do you use a lot of heavily pigmented eyeshadow, eyeliner, with waterproof mascara?
Skip it

Is your look more natural? (day-to day like eye makeup for the office)
These pads are fine

work fine
By Cathe Fein Olson
I am pleased with these eye-makeup remover pads, especially for my teen daughter who always complains about eyemakeup remover stinging her eyes. These pads don't sting and are easy to use. They seem to work best for light to medium amounts of eye makeup -- they seem a little too dry for heavy makeup. But again, perfect for my teen. The other thing I was pleased with is that, so far, the package does seem to reseal fine after each use. I was worried that the adhesive wouldn't seal properly and that the pads would dry out. I would still prefer these in some kind of jar or container for that reason.
