Obagi isn't for everyone

I've been using Obagi Nu Derm for almost 10 years. For about 5 years I used THE SYSTEM consistently. It did a beautiful job of tightening my pores and reducing sun damage. I still use the Obagi-C 20% serum and the C day lotion. I've backed off the Nu Derm to give my skin a rest at the advice of my dermatologist. I've gone back to it occasionally and the entire bottle of each number and then go to C.
I think before buying and trying any of the Nu Derm products that a person consult a dermatologist. Obagi is a medical product and should initially be recommended by a MD, not someone's friend or someone who went to beauty school. I also started using it in my early 50's. I'm not sure I would have thought it was so great in my 30's. Skin changes over the years as estogen declines. What worked in my 30's does not work in my 60's and vice versa.
And the products are meant to be used together. It is a system. When users follow the system, Obagi works miracles for the right person. It takes about 6 weeks to 2 months to see real results.
Another point: from my dermatologist, Nu Derm is not to be used all the time. The skin needs some time off from the chemicals. This is why I started using Obagi C.
Hope this helps someone. Remember that Obagi Nu Derm is a medical product and needs to be used like it is designed as a system and followed as a routine.
Nothing takes the place of a great balanced diet and drinking lots of water.

Fake product

Don't waste your time buying from this company. The product is fake! I only realized that after I bought an obagi product from another site and noticed that, the products I bought here lack the NDC # (national drug #) and the Prescribing insert/ information on the bottle. If you dig a bit, you will find similar complaints about Amazon vendors. Too bad I did not know about this problem prior to wasting my time and money. I have a hard time understanding how such reputable company like Amazon, allows this to go on.

I like this product. It really works and I like the results. My skin has improved. I think all women over 50 need to try this product
