This stuff is great!
By Conewago
I really like the Thayer's witch hazel products. In fact, we're out now and my first order was cancelled, so I'm trying to find the fastest way to get more! When I use them I can tell a big difference in my skin. It's healthier looking, more supple, the pores are clean. The cucumber Thayer's smells like... well, fresh cucumbers. Go figure. I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but it's a nice fresh scent, and I barely notice it now. I use it as an aftershave, but I don't just splash it on the beard area. I use it on all exposed skin above the base of my neck (otherwise it would look funny to have nice looking skin on my throat and cheeks, but nowhere else!). I usually put i on damp skin, it seems to go on easier. I follow it with Nivea Sensitive After Shave lotion, which I've used for years.

An observation, it appears that the women who reviewed this didn't seem as wow-ed by it as the guys are. I wonder if it's because women have used more skin products all their life, so they are used to having nice skin; and we guys, for the most part do not, so we're amazed at the change when we use this stuff?

Aftershave
By davem
I have used Thayer Witch Hazel products as an aftershave for many years. First time trying the Cucumber toner for that purpose. It works fairly well (better than the plain astringent witch hazel). I like that the scent isn't too flowery or excessive. I do prefer that feel of the Lavender version; although, I can't use that without thinking of my Grandmother!

Just What I Needed
By LongHairedHippie
Needed something gentle to wipe down before applying makeup. Works for what I need and doesnt irritate my skin. Havent been using it long enough to determine if it will reduce my acne or not but it does seem less red than usual. My face dislikes being washed more than once a day so this is a nice way to freshen up. Really does smell like a fresh cut cucumber, a nice unisex scent that doesnt last much past application.
