Great cleanser, but try the algae cleanser first.

This is a great cleaner, but I'd suggest getting the Anthony Algae cleanser first. This glycolic facial cleaner does prep your face for a good shave, but overdries. It is not suggested for those who have dry skin or acne problems.

Skin feels great, lack of lather takes getting used to.

The glycolic facial cleanser does what it says in leaving a squeaky clean face. Most notably, I noticed shaving after washing my face with this cleanser felt smoother, less irritating and the hairs were softer.

I've been using the cleanser for over a year and the two reasons for not giving it 5 stars are:
1. There does not seem to be an appreciable lather. While this does not affect it's effectiveness, it takes some getting used to if you're accustomed to rich lathering cleansers or heavy shave creams.
2. I've found the cleanser changes texture over the course of using a bottle unless you remember to gently shake before each use.

Overall, I highly recommend this cleanser. I continue to use it and I'm upset when I run out and haven't remembered to order a new bottle before the old one runs out.

I have tried so many different cleansers (including prescriptions) and this is hands down BY FAR the best.

No it doesn't foam, but it gets ALL the oil off of my face (and there's a lot) without stripping it and making it more oily later. I'm still a bit shiny, but nothing like before. Almost all of the little bumps on my forehead are gone too, and the texture of my skin/ overall skin tone have improved remarkably. I also use the Olay Pro-X brush every other day, they work very well together. Plus it smells great! I'm hooked.
