Multipurpose Use ~ Great Product!

I've found this product to be so useful that I keep a tube
in about a 1/2 dozens places all the time so it's always easy to find.
I guess I've been relying on Carmex for a least twenty years.
It feels a bit waxy from containing beeswax.
That's not an issue for me.
I've found this to be a wonderful product that brings quick relief ~
it's a moisturizing & protective lip balm and healing for chapped & cracked lips ~
it softens cuticles and heals hangnails ~
it softens and heals chapped knuckles ~
it soften dry skin on elbows ~
it softens and heals a sore ~ chapped nose ~
it helps heal small cuts ~ sores and pimples quicker ~
(great to use with a band-aid when needed)
during healing it keeps a scab from itching ~
it takes the sting out of a paper cut ~
In fact that's one of the things I like best about Carmex,
it lessens the pain or soreness where-ever I use it.
I've learned not to leave the jar in the glove compartment of a car or truck
because the summer heat will melt it and it seeps out the lid/threads & makes a mess.
I use the tubes every where except one place ~ the kitchen tool drawer.
I've found that there's still a LOT of Carmex left in a tube
after you can't squeeze any-more out.
So I cut the tube in three sections (3 makes easier access) ~
I scrape all the Carmex out with a dull pairing knife
and scrape the knife off in the Carmex jar in the kitchen drawer.
This process really keeps from wasting a lot of product.

The only thing that works

When I endured my first New England winter, my lips were so severely chapped that they had started to crack and bleed. Someone recommended Carmex, and ever since then I've stopped using anything else.
Except for when I am outdoors in the sun a lot - it can cause sunburn. Use a carmex flavor with sunscreen instead.

Carmex is a classic

I've had terrible dry chapped lips this year and Carmex is the only thing that seems to give me any relief. It does a great job of moisturizing so my lips are soft and smooth and the tubes are just the right size to pop in my pocket and take with me.
