I saw results in about a month

I'm a redhead with tons of freckles and splotches. I could see a reduction in those about a month after using the product 2x/day. I wish I had taken before & after photos! I've paid tons of money for products that didn't do 10% of the job this one did, and it's so cheap. The only downside is the gross smell. It smells like yeast infection cream. Yuck. But that's not enough to make me give it under 5 stars considering the price and level of effectiveness.

It Works!!

This product works. I am a African American female and I had dark marks from acne on my chin, dark marks around my mouth and in between my eyebrows and they are all fading fast. I just started using the cream 5 days ago. I read some of the reviews about the cream not working so here is a little advice. This is a thick cream so you should apply it to a clean face and massage it in. Do not have on makeup or other heavy products on your skin. I apply this cream at night after I cleansed my face from makeup, dirt and oil, before bed. Then when I wake up I cleanse my face again just to get rid of any dirt, oil and excess of this cream off my face. I have acne prone skin and this process works for me. The only thing that I really don't care for is the smell. It reminds me of a relaxer.

Works but Beware of Exogenous Ochronosis

The product has 3% hydroquinone in it. The product works. It will fade dark spots. **Warning: I used this product for about 3-4 weeks on my face. I developed blue-black banana shaped marks on my neck (even though I hardly ever used the product in this area).** None of the marks developed on my face where I was actually using the product 1-2x a day (very thin application). Fortunately, I had read about the side effects of hydroquinone, so I recognized the signs sooner rather than later and immediately stopped using the product. I am a registered nurse. I assumed that I would have to use this product for months in order to see this side effect...not true in my case. The marks on my neck seem to be gradually fading once I stopped using the product. After I read more about hydroquinone, I would not recommend any product with this ingredient, particularly if you are of African origin as I am.
